The next El Nido Civic Association meeting will be May 10, 2006 at 7:30 PM at Chesterbrook Elementary School cafeteria. Potential subjects for discussion at the meeting include:
- Kent Gardens Park (stream, trails, playground improvements)
- Establishing Fairfax County Trash Removal Service
- Creating a "Welcoming Committee" for new neighbors.
- Neighborhood tree planting projects
- Setting a neighborhood garage sale date
- New in-fill housing development projects
- Accept nominations for El Nido Board of Directors
- McLean Citizens Assoc. representation
- public safety issues
- re-instituting an annual neighborhood picnic
- traffic issues
- planned water main replacements
